The room was luxurious, incredibly spacious with its own bathroom, and the view was excellent, in a remote location near a lake and a hill.

Marlene, the proprietor is a gracious and very attentive hostess. She assisted in booking a helicopter flight of Fox Glacier for the afternoon that we arrived. She also made sure that we had a delicious breakfast at her hotel before we departed for a long drive to Lake Wanaka.

The place was exceptionally clean and amazing, had really friendly staff with a helpful staff member. We ate at a very nice restaurant for dinner as well as breakfast. Central location was a plus. Moreover, the area was beautiful.
We didn't have milk, were a little disappointed.

Our room at High Peaks was clean and comfortable - perfect for our 3 days at Fox Glacier. Our hostess gave us good advice about local activities. We loved being able to pre-order our dinner! We arrived at their restaurant at 7pm, had a lovely view of snow-capped Mt Tasman, and by 7.10pm our wine & dinner were served. The food was delicious!

I stayed here for one night and had dinner and breakfast at the on-site restaurant. the facilities were good, and they had everything I needed like a hair dryer and a kettle 🌟. Every hotel should have these essentials!

Great owners. Wife made dinner for us and it was excellent. We sat and watched sunset on the mountains, really beautiful. Perfect stay. Do miss the lake early in the morning.
